Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside people deeply committed to engaging thoughtfully with Israel, navigating its complexities, and helping their communities stay connected to Israel during an incredibly challenging time.

I’m excited to invite you - many of whom have become true partners and friends - to an appreciation gathering: an opportunity to reflect, connect, and look ahead together.

We’ll bring together rabbis, educators, Jewish professionals, organizers, lay leaders, and community partners for an evening of meaningful conversation and connection.

We’re honored to host a conversation with Yona Shem-Tov, Chief Executive Officer at Encounter, and Emily Einhorn, Program and Engagement Manager at Encounter, who will share insights from their recent work with Jewish leaders in America and Israel. We will also focus on how to foster meaningful, honest, and productive connections to Israel for young adults within our communities.

We’ll also enjoy a special performance by Brooklyn-based Israeli pianist and composer Noa Fort, featuring original music and intimate interpretations of Israeli classics., along with Israeli wine, dinner, and the opportunity to meet our incoming Shaliach, Yuval Linden.

We are deeply grateful to Marcella Kanfer Rolnick and Josh Rolnick for so generously opening their home to host this evening.
