About the event
Roots/Shorashim/Judur is an Israeli-Palestinian grassroots movement fostering understanding, nonviolence, and transformation among Israelis and Palestinians. Roots challenges long-held assumptions by advocating for recognition of the fullness of each side’s historical and national identities as a foundation for a future peace settlement.
Join us to hear from the founders of Roots, Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Khaled Abu Awwad, about their personal stories of transformation. They will share how their perspectives, work, and communities in Judea and Samaria and the West Bank have and have not changed since October 7, as well as their future perspectives.
The event is free. Donations are encouraged. Please RSVP by 2/28
